Meet Camilla Fane-Gladwin: UBC Bath's Business Centre Manager

Earlier this year, we were delighted to welcome Camilla Fane-Gladwin to the UBC family as the new Business Centre Manager in Bath. With a background spanning both London and Sydney, Camilla brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to her new role, and she’s thrilled to be back in her hometown after years away.

After spending a decade in London and four years in Australia, Camilla recently made the decision to return to Bath. “There’s really nothing better than the feeling of being home,” she says, reflecting on how special it feels to be back where it all started. Her international experiences have given her a global perspective, but there’s something about the community and familiarity of Bath that she’s always held close.

Outside of work, Camilla’s energy and passion shine through in everything she does. You might find her pushing her limits on a SkiErg, burning max calories in her free time, or indulging in one of her favourite treats—crisps! “It’s a bit of a secret obsession,” she admits with a smile, balancing her healthy habits with the occasional guilty pleasure.

Camilla’s happy place is closer to home, though. Early mornings spent with her Labrador are her moments of peace and calm before the day begins. “He’s always so happy, no matter what’s going on in the world,” she shares, describing how her dog’s joyful presence sets the tone for her day.

In her role as Business Centre Manager, Camilla is driven by her core values of transparency, honesty, and selflessness. She’s inspired by entrepreneurs—their work ethic and ability to take risks is something she deeply admires. Camilla herself is known for her diligence, a quality that has helped her navigate the challenges of her career so far. “I’m quite diligent,” she says, acknowledging the trait that has become one of her biggest strengths.

At UBC, Camilla is ready to make her mark. Her goal is to set a standard of service that not only elevates UBC but also makes clients proud to be part of the space. “I want our clients to feel proud of the building they work in,” she says with determination. Her focus is on creating an environment that stands out from the competition by offering exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Camilla has been making waves since her first day at 4 Queen Street, she has already revamped hUBClub Networking at UBC Bath and UBC Bath has been shortlisted at the Bath Property Awards in the Workspaces category. The awards will take place on Friday 8th November. Good luck Camilla!

We’re thrilled to have Camilla on board and can’t wait to see how she continues to shape the future of UBC’s Bath Business Centre.
